1. Who We Are
Raider Technologies LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (“Raider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a defense research and development company based in Oakwood, Ohio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our public website at raidertechnologies.com (the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the public Site. It does not apply to information you share with us through signed agreements, procurement processes, employment, or other direct business relationships, which are governed by their own terms. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@raider-tech.com or Raider Technologies LLC, 526 Garden Rd, Oakwood, OH 45419.
2. Information We Collect and Its Sources
We collect only the limited information described below.
- Information you provide (source: you). When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, organization, topic, and message you submit. This information is collected directly from you when you complete and submit the form.
- Technical information (source: your browser / device, collected automatically). When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard request information in server logs (such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring page, and the pages and files you request) for security, troubleshooting, and reliability. IP addresses are handled by our hosting provider as part of routing and log data; we do not use them to identify individual visitors.
- Analytics information (source: your browser, only with your consent). If, and only if, you turn on Analytics in our cookie controls, we collect aggregated, privacy-focused usage data such as page views, referrers, and country-level location. Our analytics are cookieless and do not track you across other websites. Analytics are off by default and are never loaded unless you opt in.
- Your privacy choices (source: your browser). We store your cookie/consent choice in your browser’s local storage so we can honor it on future visits. See “Cookies and Local Storage” below.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or special categories of sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not knowingly collect more than what is described above.
3. How We Use Information
- Contact-form information is used to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you about it, and keep ordinary business records of the correspondence.
- Technical / server-log information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site and to detect and prevent abuse.
- Analytics information (if you opt in) is used only to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so we can improve it.
- Your privacy choice is used solely to remember and apply your consent settings.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising or profiling.
4. Service Providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the Site. We share information with them only as needed to provide the Site, and only as described below.
- Website hosting, content delivery, and optional analytics: Vercel Inc. Vercel hosts and serves the Site through its global content-delivery network and generates the server logs described above. If you opt in to analytics, Vercel Web Analytics (a cookieless analytics product) collects the aggregated usage data described above. Vercel processes this data on its infrastructure in the United States and other regions.
- Contact form: Formspree, Inc. When you submit the contact form, Formspree receives and processes your submission and forwards it to us by email. Formspree may temporarily store your submission on its systems in order to deliver it and provide spam filtering. Your use of the form is also subject to Formspree’s own privacy practices.
- Business email: Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation). Our replies and ongoing correspondence, and the delivered copy of your form submission, are received and stored through Microsoft 365, our business email service.
- Fonts, video, and other content. The Site’s fonts are self-hosted by us (not loaded from a third-party font network), and Site videos are self-hosted. We do not use a separate CAPTCHA provider (our form uses a simple built-in spam check), and we do not embed third-party content that tracks you.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Raider, our users, or others.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
The Site does not use advertising, marketing, or personalization cookies. It uses only the minimal browser storage listed below.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| rt_cookie_consent | Raider (first-party, local storage) | Remembers your cookie/consent choice | Essential | Until you clear it or change your choice |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Vercel | Aggregated, cookieless usage measurement | Analytics (optional) | Cookieless; no identifier stored on your device |
Analytics are off until you opt in. You can accept or decline optional analytics with equal ease from the cookie banner, and you can reopen the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page at any time to change or withdraw your consent. Declining analytics does not affect core Site functionality.
6. Data Retention
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain ordinary business records, after which we delete or archive them. Formspree may retain a copy of your submission for a limited period under its own retention practices, and a copy remains within our Microsoft 365 email system. Server logs and any analytics data are retained for limited periods by the applicable provider.
7. Data Security and Sensitive Information
We take reasonable measures to protect information, including serving the Site over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting who can access submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do not submit sensitive or restricted information through the Site. The contact form is for general, non-sensitive business inquiries only. Do not submit classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled technical data (including ITAR- or EAR-controlled data), information subject to a non-disclosure agreement, or any third-party proprietary or confidential information.
8. International Users and Data Transfers
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to opt out of certain processing.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to or deletion of your personal information and are entitled not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
- Individuals in the EEA/UK (GDPR): where applicable, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@raider-tech.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, or YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
